JR grew up repairing small engines and racing jet skis on the weekend.  He was 1998 Amateur World Champion and on top of the world at age 16.  He graduated Marine Mechanics Institute on a full scholarship. 

Unfortunately, life has a way side tracking even the most ambitious people.  After a rough patch, JR found himself in and out of prison for more than a decade.  Finally ready to begin his life again, he jumped right back in with both feet.  In the first year after his release he met his wife Amanda, brought a beautiful baby girl into the world and started a business.  Proving that there really is 'no rest for the wicked'.
